BMW M5 F10 review (2012-2016) - the ultimate super saloon - Prices, specs and rivals
Incredible performance matches ultimate luxury
Interior and tech
BMW’s iDrive remains one of the best in-car infotainment systems out there – it’s quick and, with time, very intuitive to use. Presented here in ultimate ‘Professional’ guise, it completely squares away any entertainment and tech needs.
The M5 is also available with just about all of BMW’s driver assistance technologies, including lane keep assist, collision warnings and even a night vision camera.
A fully loaded M5 is a serious tech showcase and while it doesn’t quite match up with the likes of a Mercedes S-class for gadgetry, it nails what really matters with iDrive and quality in-car audio.
The interior quality and build are both beyond doubt, and there’s plenty of space, too. The boot offers 520 litres of stowage, which is more than enough for most needs.
