Range Rover SV Autobiography Ultimate revealed

Matte green paintwork and a near-£185k price tag set apart new flagship Range Rover

Land Rover has revealed a new Range Rover SV Autobiography Ultimate edition of the current generation luxury SUV, featuring bespoke paintwork and detailing completed by JLR’s SV Bespoke department.

The new model will join the wider range in long-wheelbase P565 and P400e forms, and share the same collection of aesthetic tweaks headlined by a satin-finish Orchard green paint finish offset with copper detailing around the badging and grille.

These changes join the usual SV Autobiography’s exterior elements, including specific diamond-cut 22-inch wheels, bespoke detailing around the side gills, grille and unique tail lights.

Inside, the buyers can specify any interior trim variation from the standard SV Autobiography palette, but SV Bespoke’s preferred colour is Vintage Tan, offset by a carbon weave inlay.  The SV Autobiography’s otherwise bespoke detailing includes a knurled finish to many of the interior controls, a bespoke milled stainless steel rotary gear selector and a diamond-quilted stitch pattern on the seats and headrests.

Being a long-wheelbase version, the rear bench has been swapped for fully adjustable captains chairs split by a built-in centre console. The chairs themselves are heated and cooled, and finished in a high-grade semi-aniline leather. Other elements like the leather rooflining, a glass roof, top-drawer Meridian stereo and double glazing are only the tip of an overflowing equipment list.

Prices will start at £147,441 for the P400e plug-in hybrid, rising to £183,706 for the supercharged V8, which is only around £4000-or-so more than a normal LWB SV Autobiography, and actually around £20,000 less than an example fitted with the most expensive colour and trim additions available.
