Design

Infiniti seems to have found some aesthetic confidence over the last few years and the Q30 is generally a successful manifestation of that. The sweeping curves and sharp lines all look fairly cohesive and Infiniti’s corporate face is less likely to cause distress than that of its Japanese rival Lexus.

If there’s one thing that could be improved, it’s that as a pseudo-crossover the Q30 isn’t as sleek as it could be. We’d be intrigued to see one with a few inches removed from its ride height – which would no doubt bring benefits for handling, too.
