Trackday Dare G4

The Dare G4 has been turned into a trackday and summer's day special. The new G4 Club was the brainchild of Dare dealer Paul Stephens and includes adjustable, rose-jointed suspension. The car also benefits from bigger brakes and an lsd. To keep weight down to around 620kg, it has a stripped-out interior and no hood.

Its injected 1.8-litre, dry-sumped Ford Zetec unit comes in two states of tune - 175bhp and 190bhp. According to Paul Stephens, the G4 Club is on the pace of a Caterham R300, although the car is set up to be friendly and fun. Prices start at £25K. Call Paul Stephens on 01440 714884.
