Litchfield starts work on new STi

With the next-generation Impreza STi barely on sale in Japan, UK-based Litchfield Imports is already busy developing upgrade packages. For the past few months the importer-cum-tuning outfit which created the excellent Type 25 has been testing new suspension parts and investigating how best to blueprint the latest Impreza's engine. It has also been looking into new twin-scroll turbocharger designs said to not only boost top-end power but also to generate up to 400lb ft of torque. Boss Iain Litchfield reckons
