BMW's US M3 prices don't add up and novel anti-speeding approach in Australia

THE ROADS and Traffic authorities in Australia are taking a novel approach with the latest anti-speeding ads. TV commercials show young drivers behaving prattishly in cars, eliciting a withering reaction from women pedestrians who wiggle their little fingers and nod knowingly at each other before the slogan appears: ‘Speeding. No one thinks big of you.’ In the words of Wheels magazine, ‘The RTA’s campaign hits below the belt… but it might just work.’
MEANWHILE, in the US the National Motorists Association has released its list of top-10 speed-trap cities. In third place is Houston, Texas, second is Colorado Springs, Colorado, but top with the most traps is Detroit, Michigan. Motor city…
