Lotus 2-Eleven

Bespoke edition of Lotus track car on show at MPH 08

Lotus 2-Eleven

Head along to this year's MPH show and you'll get to see this, a bespoke special edition of the Lotus 2-Eleven. It's a car we rate highly here, and Lotus dealer Bell & Colvill has made it more desirable by decorating it in Classic Team Lotus green and yellow. It's a nod to Jim Clark's Lotus Type 49 grand prix car from the 60s, and takes the supercharged 2-Eleven as its base - meaning 252bhp, 179lb ft and 0-60mph in 3.8sec - and thanks to a lowly 670kg kerb weight, there's a supercar-bashing 382bhp per ton.

Bell & Colvill is also working on a 2-Eleven in another classic Lotus hue, black and gold - a livery made famous on the marque's 72 and 77 race cars - as well as a modern-day Exige with a series 1 Esprit interior transplanted into it.

You can catch the 60s-style 2-Eleven at the MPH show, which takes place at London's Earls Court from October 30 to November 2, while the Birmingham NEC leg runs from November 13 to 16. EVO will be there, and you can get your tickets from the MPH website or by calling 0871 230 7150.
