Lamborghini LP640: Lambo reveals LP640 roadster

631bhp open-top Murciélago on the way

Lamborghini has applied the Roadster treatment to the Murciélago LP640. As with the LP640 coupe, the Roadster is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 developing 631bhp and producing 487lb ft of torque, and while the new car shares its roof arrangment with the ‘regular’ Roadster, its bodywork features the visual cues of the flagship: different wheels, front and rear bumper assemblies, tail-lamps, rear diffuser and tail-pipe.

The Roadster, capable of 205mph and 0-62mph in 3.4sec, will be on sale in the UK in time for the summer at just over £200,000.
