Lexus LC Limited Edition revealed with bespoke paint colour

Lexus’s flagship coupe sports some interesting colour combinations on another special edition

Lexus LC 500 Limited Edition

Lexus has revealed its next special-edition Lexus LC, creatively called the ‘Limited Edition’. Sharing the same basic formula as the already deeply desirable 2+2 coupe, the Limited Edition is available in both V6 hybrid and V8 forms. The changes are centred around unique colour and trim, and follow up the Spectral Blue LC500 that was revealed in October last year.

The new exterior colour is called Naples Yellow, and is a deeper, warmer tone compared to the slightly bananary Flare Yellow available on the standard LC. This is paired with a bespoke interior colour combination of black dash and steering wheel with off-white semi-aniline leather on the seats, dash and door cards.

The really striking bit inside is the contrasting yellow Alcantara inserts on the door panels, (an interesting design component in itself, as they were designed specifically to brush the back of your hand as you reach for the ornate interior door handle). The dash, steering wheel and centre console also feature corresponding yellow stitching.

The rest of the specification is in line with top-of-the-range Sport+ models, so you’ll also get the showstopping forged 21-inch wheels, carbonfibre-reinforced plastic roof, rear-wheel steering, high-spec stereo and a limited-slip differential.

To be shown to the public at the Paris motor show in October this year, it’ll then reach customers in November for those looking for what might arguably be the most striking car on sale. Prices have not been announced, but we’d expect them to be higher than the £85,895 standard LC Coupe Sport+.
