Lancia Delta Integrale: Picture timeline
Here's a gallery of how the Lancia Integrale evolved from its humble hatchback origins
With its humble origins being routed in the 1970s, the Delta was an unlikely rally winner, but with the banning of Group B, Lancia’s WRC-winning four-wheel-drive knowledge and development was ploughed into the five-door Delta HF Turbo, and then the Integrale.
Watch Harry Metcalfe's recent 'evo Diaries' video on his own Integrale Evo 2 model, and see some great footage of the Lancia during its rally career. The gallery below charts the model from 1979 Delta 1300 to the final Evo 2 models.
