Audi confirms price and delivery dates
Data’s been firmed up on Audi’s RS6 quattro Avant. Power from the beefcake 5-litre V10 – a more compact version of the S6’s 5.2-litre engine – will be 580PS. Torque is a tree-stump-pulling 650Nm. Performance is understandably staggering with a 0 to 62mph time of 4.6 seconds.
The Avant boasts 1,660 litres luggage space and will be priced at £77,625. Deliveries will be in May but sadly the first year’s allocation of 380 examples has already been accounted for. The saloon version will follow later on in the year.
