Audi A6 and A7 facelift adds Apple CarPlay and exterior tweaks
New tech and design features added
Audi has updated the A6 and A7, bringing new infotainment tech and a series of subtle design tweaks to the interior. The biggest change comes to the MMI nav-system, which now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, bringing it closer in line with the technology found in the new Audi A4.
Also changed on the A6 are revised air inlets at the front of the car and more angular design touches along the lines of Audi's newer model range. The car also features a redesigned diffuser and a black front grille on S line models. New wheel designs are also available. The A7 gains an additional three alloy wheel designs and three new body colours.
Audi has changed the A6 and A7 interiors, bringing new LED ambient lighting and optional silver or grey inlays. Other options include the Apple CarPlay/Android Auto tech mentioned earlier, while the rear seats can have tablet computers which are removable from the vehicle.
The Audi A6 Allroad gets further options, including a brown and grey paint scheme, new alloy wheels and various seating options.
The Audi A4 currently sits at the top of Audi's range when it comes to interior technology, so it's nice to see some of its options moved across to more expensive models.
