A car advert worth watching to the end

As a car advert it is a bit tenuous. In fact it is very tenuous, but the shot where the car finally appears in this advert made our jaws drop, so we thought it was worth sharing. 

Audi has a history of using winter sports to advertise quattro. Who could forget the Audi 100 driving up the ski jump? That was an idea that they recently reprised with an A6.  Audi also sponsors the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup, with all the racers carrying the four rings on their suits.

As a result it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that their latest advert for quattro also includes skiing… except that it is skiing like you have probably never seen it before. Its star, Candide Thovex, has done some incredible videos in the past (the sort that transcend the borders of the sport) most memorably ‘One of Those Days’ and ‘One of Those Days 2’ both of which you can see below.
