Infiniti G37S Coupe

Our Infiniti has been getting lots of attention, and it seems everyone loves it

'Is that your car outside?’ It’s a question you wouldn’t normally want to be asked, because it usually means you’re about to hear the words, ‘I’m really sorry but I’ve just bumped into it.’

But I knew everything was OK, that the woman who had accosted me in the quiet village shop was just another in the ever-growing number of people wanting to comment on or find out more about the Infiniti Coupe.

The day before it had been the boy on the pushbike outside the chip shop (‘Cor! Nice car!’), a couple of days before that it was the group of OAPs I overheard outside the post office trying to work out what it was they were looking at (‘I don’t think it’s an Audi…’).

It’s been like this ever since GG10 EVO first arrived. In a sea of over-familiar grey and black coupe shapes, the Vibrant Red G37S really stands out. People who think they know their cars do a double-take when they see it, and I’ve lost count of the number of complete strangers who have felt compelled to come over and ask me about it.

Best of all, the reaction seems to be entirely positive, and every little encounter really lifts your day. If only all those Audi and BMW drivers knew what they were missing out on…
