Ford Focus ST prices

Ford has announced prices and specifications for the new 246bhp Focus ST, on sale from £21,995

Ford has released details and pricing information for the first hot variant of the current Focus. The ST is prices from £21,995 as a basic hatchback and £23,095 for the estate. Orders start from June 1, with the first deliveries taking place in September.

In the ever more emissions-conscious Focus range, the ST has lost the old Volvo-sourced five-cylinder powerplant, and in its place is a new generation of 2.0-litre four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, which thanks to direct injection develops 246bhp while pumping out just 169g/km of CO2 – 20% lower than its predecessor.

The three different trim and spec options range from the standard ST-1, which still comes with 18-inch wheels, Recaro seats and keyless go, with the £23,495 ST-2 bringing half-leather seats, auto headlights and more standard kit, with the top of the range £25,495 ST-3 adding full-leather trim, Bi-Xenon headlights with LED running lights and even more equipment.

This is Ford’s first global performance car, with the previous Focus ST limited to Europe, the new Focus ST was developed jointly by Ford’s Team RS in Europe and its Special Vehicles Team (SVT) in the United States and will go on sale in 40 different countries, from this year.
