370Z delayed

Production of the new Nissan 370Z coupe is delayed until April

Eagerly awaiting a Nissan 370Z? You’re going to have a wait a bit longer. Due to production cutbacks at the Tochigi plant in Japan, the first 370Zs won’t arrive in Europe until July.

Production had been scheduled to start this month, but has now been delayed until April. It’s understood that buyers will still be able to pre-order cars from January onwards.

Tochigi also produces the Nissan GT-R as well as the Infiniti range. We were unable to speak to Infiniti to find out if this has affected their planned April launch in the UK, but a Nissan spokesman informed us that “we’re not aware of any delays on the GT-R”.

While you wait that bit longer for the 370Z to arrive, watch a video of evo driving the Nissan 370Z.
